NEOMED Connect Privacy Policy
What we collect
NEOMED Connect is an online database hosted on the NEOMED website that collects and stores demographic and professional information (collectively termed “data”) input by alumni and friends of NEOMED for the purpose of establishing a mentoring network for its students and alumni (the “users”). By entering your data into NEOMED Connect, you consent to its collection and use by NEOMED in accordance with this policy.
How we use it
Unless required by law, NEOMED will not publish, disclose, sell, or otherwise make your data available to anyone other than the users, who must access NEOMED Connect utilizing their NEOMED email and password. Any personal contact information (e.g., email or phone) will not be shared directly with users; contact to you will be initiated by NEOMED Connect, providing you with the option to respond and/or directly communicate with users. If at any point you wish for your data to be removed from NEOMED Connect, please email alumnioffice@neomed.edu. Any changes to this privacy policy will be updated on this page.
How we protect it
NEOMED employs several measures to protect the privacy of your data. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Users will access the data utilizing their NEOMED email and password credentials. NEOMED Connect will retain your data in accordance with NEOMED’s Retention Records Policy.
How we store it
NEOMED Connect stores your data in a third-party owned and operated cloud server located in the United States, that is backed up nightly with a cloud storage provider in the United States. Access to this data is restricted and only allowed by approved users.
